Emerging infectious diseases have been highlighted as one of the responsibilities of the biodiversity lost around the world. Emerging Fungal Pathogens, that belong to these emerging infectious diseases, have been forgotten and not studied, although they act as parasites and can cause the death of many organisms. This project want to find out if these pathogens such as Fusarium falciforme and Fusarium keratoplasticum, Aphanomyces astaci, Saprolegnia diclina or Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis are affecting Pacuare Nature Reserve biodiversity and in which ways.
